GRENACHE NOIR

The most intense red

Grenache Noir and Carignan have been grown in the Priorat since time immemorial. The grapes extract water and minerals from clay, slate and pebble soils to offer a symphony of color and aromas that express the essence of these soils.

MANOU - GRENACHE NOIR AND CARIGNAN

The harvest takes place between late September and early October. Alcoholic fermentation with skins of 16-18 days. One part is fermented with whole grapes. It has a short aging in barrels. Aged with its lees for 6 months before bottling.
Intense purple wine with medium-layer violet reflections. On the nose it dominates above all the notes of fruit, black fruit and sour red like raspberry. In the background are also the spicy notes of Carignan with a touch of Mediterranean herbs. Once opened, notes of minerals and licorice appear. Grenache brings subtle notes of fruit and a little more ripe, cherry and plum. The presence of wood is smoothly integrated and evolving over time in the glass. A bold and exuberant wine, eager to express and make itself known and above all to be enjoyed. Manou is a wine with a strong aromatic presence and a lot of complexity.
