CARIGNAN

The brightest red

The Carignan of the Priorat and the Montsant synthesizes the molecules that give the characteristic freshness and perfume of this grape. This is made possible by the interaction of the vineyards with rosemary and thyme and the native microorganisms that ferment the wine.

CRITELLES CARINYENA VINYES VELLES · 1153

Hand-harvested in early October. Slow alcoholic fermentation at 17-20ºC with skins of the grapes for 21-24 days using native yeasts from the vineyard. Wine from centenarian vines that ae descendants from pre-phylloxera vine trees.
Carignan wine, intense red color with bright violet reflections. The nose is dominated by a light and fresh scent of red fruit. The attack in the mouth is smooth and greedy. Its passage is long and silky marked by the sour freshness of the red fruits. The aftertaste is harmonic and light.
